TRD Front Aero Bumper, radiating sports performance appeal.

■This front aero bumper is designed based on the GT500 Supra, which competes in top-flight national races like the TRD-sponsored All-Japan GT Championship Series (JGTC). Of the races known as the Haco, the JGTC series leads the way in aerodynamic performance. The particularly strong aerodynamic performance of the GT500 Supra is conceptually reflected in this aero bumper.
■With emphasis on functionality, the design increases the size of the metallic mesh grill and bumper openings to achieve smooth intake of fresh air. As with the GT machine, the lip rises toward the center. This results in an increase in air flow under the floor, which speeds up the under-floor air flow velocity and takes advantage of the ground effect to reduce lift.
